A story about sindark
I spent one day with Milan shortly before he departed for Oxford. He dragged me all over Vancouver showing me points of interest and giving me handy tips, like where to find the best mafia-run pizza place in Vancouver.

shes great!
very smart and funny
i was suprised to see she wasnt already on my list? ive been subscribed for as long as i can remember!
I am in awe of Flash’s positive world view and self confidence. She’s just quirky enough to be totally hip, and she exudes a positively contagious joie de vivre. She is one of my secret heroes on 43 Things.
Also, she has that hair :swoon:.
Lively, witty, honest, and just so gosh darn cute, it’s impossible not to want to meet her!
I love her sparkle and her appreciation of dry humor and sarcasm. You can tell she also really loves the little things in life, like a good night’s sleep! She also likes kids, and I guess those could be considered little too. ;o) Thank ye for introducing me to PROTECT, btw!
In all actuality, I’m in the Vancouver area a couple of times a year – hopefully we’ll be able to get together soon!!! (((HUGS!)))
She’s such a sweetheart and is so supportive and makes the best encouraging posts.
What’s not to love? She’s witty, charming, talented and gorgeous. I’d have to hate her if she wasn’t so darn sweet on top of it all.
She managed to teach me how to bake pumpkin bread... an unimaginable feat, given my lack of kitchen know-how. And she lives just across the river from me!
She’s from Portland, and people from Portland are generally cool (except for those who aren’t), and she takes really cool pictures.
I find him intriguing. He is mad and full of kinetic energy, but also introspective and sensitive. Full of contradictions that clash in a most appealing way. I am compelled to find out how the online personality translates to the real world.
He did a great reading from Anansi Boys and told lots of funny stories and then signed autographs for about 500 people, all the while being lovely and gracious. Just when I didn’t think it was possible for my fangirl crush to get worse. :swoon: He shook my hand and signed my books and wished me happy birthday and I mostly grinned like an idiot and tried not to say something stupid.
It was great. :-D
